I wrote “Douchebag” for Nexo Productions, a video-focused advertising agency. As part of Nexo’s sustainability campaign, “Douchebag” stars a college girl looking for a serious romantic relationship—something strong, reliable, and sustainable. She has no luck with her douchey hookups—all flimsy plastic bags—until she finds the one: a tote bag. Mr. Tote Bag is a pretty boy who holds all her heavy books and wants to be with her forever. She takes him on a date to the grocery store every week.
